LET'S TALK ABOUT BOOKING:
The Purple Crayon is an undergraduate improv troupe from Yale University. We make up scenes and sketches on the spot based on audience suggestions and participation. Our performances require no sets, props, or costumes. We don’t even need a stage—just a place to stand and an excited, energetic audience.
The Crayon prides itself on being a flexible group that can tailor performances to suit our audience and venue. We’ve performed and run workshops at places as diverse as schools, corporations, and even art galleries. If you are looking for a specific type of show or workshop, just let us know.

Interested in a Workshop? We cover improv basics for participants who have little or no experience. We can also lead more advanced workshops with a focus on further developing long-form or scene-work skills (or skills in a particular type of show/style). Workshops are held in a comfortable, relaxed environment. Purple Crayons lead the way with examples while students get a hands-on experience. Contact Sam Kruyer, our Bookings Manager, for more info!
